It's so difficult to find a mechanic you can trust. Even more difficult to find a mechanic who is knowledgeable about specific cars. I drive an e46 M3, and most mechanics don't know anything about it, even the BMW specialists!I had issues with my A/C, and I had a mechanic take a look at my car, and he told me that my A/C condenser had sprung a few leaks. He quoted me over $1,000 of work. I ended up going to THE auto shop instead, and found out that the condenser was just fine, and that the leak was simply an old valve that costs a few bucks, and takes a few seconds to install. Thanks to these guys, I saved well over $1000. They even recharged my A/C for only $135 along with green dye for any possible future presence of leaks. I also had an oil change done, and they did it right in less than half an hour knowing about the specific Castrol TWS 10W-60 oil along with all the washers, grommets, and o-rings. If they don't have a part on hand, they're able to get it extremely fast.I actually drove all the way down from L.A. to have these guys take care of my car, and I can honestly say that it was worth the drive. An honest mechanic is so hard to come by, and these guys go the extra mile to make sure your car is running great without attacking your wallet. They really know their stuff, and they even work after hours. Rare.It seems like they're a new business, so it's best to go to these guys before customers start finding out about this gem and fill up their schedules.

Dropped of my car Monday morning before work. Had my rims powder coated HOT pink (I had been thinking about this for a while, but just haven't been able to find a place with decent prices. Sam convinced me with their super fair pricing!). I even gave them a bottle of nail polish for color matching. Just got my car back Thursday afternoon (it took a little longer for it to dry since i requested to have pearlesence added) and I love love love the results! They were able to match the color I wanted perfectly! (picture: s3-media2.ak.yelpcdn.com )All the guys at the shop are super nice and super helpful. The prices are extremely fair. Will definitely come back for my other vehicle needs!

Its been getting pretty hot and sure enough my A/C decides to stop working. So I called Fletcher Jones to get some prices. They quoted me $280 for an A/C Evac and Recharge only and they would inspect to see if additional repairs are needed. I figured I would just take it in since the bushings need to be replaced anyways and they already quoted $750. But I decided to just shop around first to see if I could find a better deal. And I found Auto Craft Mercedes and thought I give them a shot but I accidentally walked into THE auto shop. The staff was friendly and helpful and they offered a free inspect and diagnostic. I was sold! Sam the manager offered to drop me off at work since I worked close by. A few hours later Shawn my Tech called me to go over the repair. They were very informative about the repair and cost.1. $350 for labor and parts for the bushing2. $135 for Evac and recharge Additional repairs after diagnostic3. $200 for new receiver dry and repaired lines4. $115 for replace broken sway barRepairs weren't cheap but these cost come with the car. This is a way better deal than going to the Dealer. I saved a little more than 50% from what Fletcher Jones quoted. This is my new local mechanic shop. Great Service too!!

I'm always skeptical about auto repair shops. I mean... how many people have gone in for an oil change and ended up spending way more for some hoses or air conditioning work they didn't need? Not here! THE auto shop actually seems to thrive off of getting their customer's car issues solved as quickly, simply, and (thank God) inexpensively as possible! For those of you looking for an awesome car mechanic, look no further. The prices here are far better than any chain store. Trust is usually my biggest issue when it comes to auto care and this is a place that I can depend on.The Manager Sam is very honest and you will not have to pay for crap or services that your car doesn't need. He will be straight up with you. This is a quality worth supporting!!!

Dropped by for a quick oil change on my girlfriends Scion XB. Walking through the front door you see the bright (and clean) waiting room. Spoke to the Service Adviser at the sleek white counter. He was prompt, knowledgeable and very welcoming. While I waited for the service, the technician informed me that I had a nail in the sidewall of one the tires. I was impressed with his eye for detail. Luckily, my girlfriend had a warranty. Next time I need service done on her car (or mine) I will definitely be heading to THE auto shop.

Stopped by to have them check out my Acura. Have not been overly thrilled with the service I get at the dealership. I have been hearing a noise when I first start my car in the mornings. Anyway, stopped by here and told them what I was experiencing. The guy behind the desk asked me some questions about my car and then told me with my car and the age of it they just need to adjust the valves. Well what a relief. I figured I needed a whole new engine. Plus for the inside guy to know this even with out talking to his tech was impressive to me. Definitely, will be going back and taking my wifes MBZ.
