The barrel of the ignition key mechanism was broken and needed to be replaced. A new barrel would normally mean a new key, which would not have matched the car doors or trunk locks. Rather then replacing all locks, which really would have been cost prohibitive, especially on a 18 year-old Honda Civic, Brandon thought of getting the new barrel re-keyed to my old key. Saved me several hundred dollars (or the hassle of two keys), and everything works like a charm. Thanks guys!
