Saw grand opening a few weeks ago and my car was due for an oil change. Thought I could drop off car there while I went to the 24 hr fitness next door. The staff was very friendly and assured me oil change can be done in an hour or less even though I saw other cars already there. Sure enough when I returned it was done and they didn't try to sell me on what else needed to be done, just charged me for the oil change and gave me 20% discount for first time customer.. Shall return when my other cars need oil changes.

I took my Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG here and I am completely satisfied with the quality of work and service given. My vehicle had a huge issue with the panoramic sunroof that 2 other shops that i had previous went to did not want to work on it. Being upset that no one wanted to work on my broken sunroof, a friend of a friend told me about this place and I took my car there. THE auto shop technicians were EXTREMELY knowledgable,,,any problem i would throw at them, they would quickly diagnose. Not only did they fix my sunroof perfectly they also fixed my automatic trunk and also this usual noise coming from the rear muffler. They preformed all the services very quickly and handled my car with care! Best of all their costs are very reasonable. The staff is young/energetic and enthusiastic about their work. TOP QUALITY service with more than reasonable prices, these guys are legitimate!

You can tell alot about a business on the way its kept up. My experience in the past of auto repair shops have been they are dirty, dingy and a little bit scary to go in. That is not the case with THE auto shop. This place is the cleanest auto repair facility I have ever gone to. It has a warm contemporary feeling and even has a salt water fish tank with Nemo in it. The guys there are really make me feel comfortable and gave me a great price on a timing belt for the family Honda Odyssey. Justin took the time to tell me why it was important to change. Sam was able to give me a ride back to Tustin while they worked on the car.All in all I am happy I found THE auto shop on Google and felt they were worth the mention. The best part is you save 20% on labor being a first time customer and they warranty their work for 24 months/24,000 miles.

We have a Prius 2009 and we have had some issues with some check engine light issues. During a trip to OC, our friends recommend that we get it checked out at this auto shop. At first I was a bit nervous, cause they are a new auto shop and they didn't have many reviews on YELP (you know how that goes) but boy, these guys are experts at what they do!!! They were so professional and so cool. They figured out the source of our issue and got us in and out of there in the time promised. I think the guys' name was Justin. Not only did they not charge us for the service but they also gave us a thorough inspection, since we haven't had one for a while and all looks good. Yeah!!! Finally found an auto shop that doesn't try to up sell you on services and products, just friendly, honest opinion. It's a far drive from SD, but we will surely be going here for our maintenances, etc.

I've been driving for well over 20 years and I've never been able to find a reliable mechanic. As a fairly gullible (at least when it comes to cars) female, I'm always suckered by mechanics into getting additional services that aren't necessary and I absolutely HATE the feeling I get afterwards of feeling that I've been cheated. One of the best perks of being married is having a husband to take care of these things for me but occasionally the husband is too busy so it falls on me again. I recently needed an oil change on my Prius and the husband didn't have time so I tried THE auto shop on the recommendation of a good friend. I'm in the SGV so driving to Irvine is a bit of a haul for me but I had other things to do in the area and I reasoned that it would be worth it if I didn't get suckered into needed a couple of hundred dollars worth of extra services (which happened the last time I attempted to get my oil changed). The process was painless. The service itself was very friendly and efficient. Extra services weren't even mentioned and I was in and out of there very quickly. The staff was great and the location itself is very clean and comfortable. When I told my husband how much I was charged, he was surprised, expecting it to be much more expensive than it was (it was Irvine, after-all). He said it was slightly better than what we were paying in the SGV. Overall, I was very happy with my experience and have told the husband that we'll be using them again in the future.

It's so difficult to find a mechanic you can trust. Even more difficult to find a mechanic who is knowledgeable about specific cars. I drive an e46 M3, and most mechanics don't know anything about it, even the BMW specialists!I had issues with my A/C, and I had a mechanic take a look at my car, and he told me that my A/C condenser had sprung a few leaks. He quoted me over $1,000 of work. I ended up going to THE auto shop instead, and found out that the condenser was just fine, and that the leak was simply an old valve that costs a few bucks, and takes a few seconds to install. Thanks to these guys, I saved well over $1000. They even recharged my A/C for only $135 along with green dye for any possible future presence of leaks. I also had an oil change done, and they did it right in less than half an hour knowing about the specific Castrol TWS 10W-60 oil along with all the washers, grommets, and o-rings. If they don't have a part on hand, they're able to get it extremely fast.I actually drove all the way down from L.A. to have these guys take care of my car, and I can honestly say that it was worth the drive. An honest mechanic is so hard to come by, and these guys go the extra mile to make sure your car is running great without attacking your wallet. They really know their stuff, and they even work after hours. Rare.It seems like they're a new business, so it's best to go to these guys before customers start finding out about this gem and fill up their schedules.

Dropped of my car Monday morning before work. Had my rims powder coated HOT pink (I had been thinking about this for a while, but just haven't been able to find a place with decent prices. Sam convinced me with their super fair pricing!). I even gave them a bottle of nail polish for color matching. Just got my car back Thursday afternoon (it took a little longer for it to dry since i requested to have pearlesence added) and I love love love the results! They were able to match the color I wanted perfectly! (picture: s3-media2.ak.yelpcdn.com )All the guys at the shop are super nice and super helpful. The prices are extremely fair. Will definitely come back for my other vehicle needs!

Its been getting pretty hot and sure enough my A/C decides to stop working. So I called Fletcher Jones to get some prices. They quoted me $280 for an A/C Evac and Recharge only and they would inspect to see if additional repairs are needed. I figured I would just take it in since the bushings need to be replaced anyways and they already quoted $750. But I decided to just shop around first to see if I could find a better deal. And I found Auto Craft Mercedes and thought I give them a shot but I accidentally walked into THE auto shop. The staff was friendly and helpful and they offered a free inspect and diagnostic. I was sold! Sam the manager offered to drop me off at work since I worked close by. A few hours later Shawn my Tech called me to go over the repair. They were very informative about the repair and cost.1. $350 for labor and parts for the bushing2. $135 for Evac and recharge Additional repairs after diagnostic3. $200 for new receiver dry and repaired lines4. $115 for replace broken sway barRepairs weren't cheap but these cost come with the car. This is a way better deal than going to the Dealer. I saved a little more than 50% from what Fletcher Jones quoted. This is my new local mechanic shop. Great Service too!!

I'm always skeptical about auto repair shops. I mean... how many people have gone in for an oil change and ended up spending way more for some hoses or air conditioning work they didn't need? Not here! THE auto shop actually seems to thrive off of getting their customer's car issues solved as quickly, simply, and (thank God) inexpensively as possible! For those of you looking for an awesome car mechanic, look no further. The prices here are far better than any chain store. Trust is usually my biggest issue when it comes to auto care and this is a place that I can depend on.The Manager Sam is very honest and you will not have to pay for crap or services that your car doesn't need. He will be straight up with you. This is a quality worth supporting!!!

Dropped by for a quick oil change on my girlfriends Scion XB. Walking through the front door you see the bright (and clean) waiting room. Spoke to the Service Adviser at the sleek white counter. He was prompt, knowledgeable and very welcoming. While I waited for the service, the technician informed me that I had a nail in the sidewall of one the tires. I was impressed with his eye for detail. Luckily, my girlfriend had a warranty. Next time I need service done on her car (or mine) I will definitely be heading to THE auto shop.
